Naturally, our team welcomed the opportunity and encouraged him to be seen while he was already in the office.
At first, the patient was resistant. He had not seen a provider in decades, expressing frustration by saying, “No one listens to me, so why waste my time?”
After some convincing from his wife, he limped into the office, barely able to walk. Our team immediately embraced him, giving him the time and space to voice his concerns, frustrations, and general distrust of medical care.

Since that initial visit, he has willingly returned multiple times to manage his chronic health conditions.
