Background
Worked in ER medicine for 5 years and at the University of Kentucky Trauma Surgery for 6 years before changing to primary care. Becoming a PA was a second career after working in research for several years. I was always curious about what our research was doing to patients, how it was translating from the bench to the bedside. I love the constant opportunity to learn and challenge myself in medicine.

Life and Hobbies
I like kayaking, Everton Football Club, and traveling. My wife and I live in Weaverville. We moved here from Lexington, KY so she can attend the Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts.
