Timothy Dailey, MD

“I’ve always found it a privilege to help figure out what’s wrong when someone isn’t feeling their best. Helping patients improve, especially with their mental health, is the most rewarding part of my work.”

Background
I’ve been practicing family medicine for nearly three decades, and what continues to motivate me every day is the privilege of being part of a patient’s journey toward healing. I’ve always been fascinated by how disease affects the human body, but even more so by how I can help someone move from illness to wellness, especially in the area of mental health.

Education

  • Undergraduate: LeMoyne College
  • Medical School: SUNY Upstate Medical University
  • Internship and Residency: Harrisburg Family Practice

Life and Hobbies
I live in Deep Gap, NC, and have four adult children who currently live in four different time zones, which has led to some great travel opportunities! When I’m not seeing patients, you’ll often find me out hiking with my dog or playing electric guitar (though I’ll admit, I’m still a bit of a hack).
